The ACID name actually covers over 20 different flavored or infused cigars, hand-rolled in Esteli, Nicaragua, by Drew Estates.  Some of their lines, including Kuba Kuba and Blondie, are among the top sellers in the US.

Depending on the specific cigar, an ACID will use mild or black tobacco,  and wrappers from Cameroon, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Sumatra or Connecticut Shade. It will be infused with herbs, oils other or botanicals. Here's a quick cheat sheet that includes some of the big names in each line.

* ACID Blue/Remi: Mild tobaccos.  Includes the top sellers Kuba Kuba, 1400cc, Blondie and Wafe.
* ACID Purple/Juggernaut. Extra Ordinary Larry, Roam, C-Note
* ACID Gold: Atom Maduro, Cold Infusion Tea, Earthiness
* ACID Red: Strong flavors, black tobacco and Maduro wrappers. Nefasto, Nasty, Liquid.
* ACID One: Cured in a blend of red wines and wrapped in Cameroon leaf. The only non-aromatic in the line.

Personally I'm old school and not a fan of flavored cigars, but a lot of people like ACIDs for a change of pace and their "wife-friendly" aroma. It's like comparing drip coffee, espressos and those frothy whipped cream abominations: they're all called "coffee" but they're really not the same thing. These are really love-or-hate. Try one before you buy a box, and see which side you're on.

I tried one of their Nasty's the other day and it was indeed Nasty, it tasted like rose and burnt chocolate, not a goo experience.

Its a good quality cigar but not one that I enjoy. The flavor and aromas are too overpowering. I recommend it for new smokers but not anyone who actually enjoys a good cigar.

Not a bad cigar. The acid cigar is a change to the traditional cigar and you cant be the price.

Not a fan of the infused flavored cigars. Not going to waste my lungs on this cigar.

The acid cigar is not my taste. If you want candy flavor then get yourself some candy. I want a cigar with the true characteristics of smoking a cigar.
