12:46 (EST)Pleasant and nice are the words I’d use to describe this cigar. Nothing mind-blowing, nothing out of this world. The transition of flavors from woody to nutty to spicy was good and consistent, but maybe the Fuente name had me thinking there would be more taste action going on.

10:39 (EST)Everything about the Chateau Fuente is good: construction, burn, flavor, and taste. The cigar is tightly wrapped in cedar as the initial spiciness is joined by its progressive woodiness. The smoke comes full circle when hints of pepper can be tasted at the end, making for a medium-full bodied experience at a reasonable price. The cigar even gets better after staying in the humidor for a couple of months.

10:16 (EST)A classic. Tastes more expensive than it is, with fine flavor too. I’ve heard others have had problems with construction and uneven burn, but I’ve been smoking these for years and always been very satisfied. I try other new ones for variety, but I always come back to these.
