08:05 (EST)What would be a better execution of Hemingway’s literary class that the Hemingway Classic? I tried it, and I believed. The smoothness was exemplary, and the evenness of the draw was remarkable. I wouldn’t call it powerful—wasn’t looking for anything of that sort, anyway—but it’s quite enjoyable and, like Hemingway’s stories, truly classy.

10:43 (EST)Definitely lives up to its name. I personally prefer the Short Story, but when you want your happiness to last a little longer (like, say, at a boring dinner party you can’t get away from), the Classic hits the spot.

10:55 (EST)Despite the visible veins of the wrapper, the Classic is a pure joy to smoke. The fairly packed construction is a foreboding of good things to come. The woody taste, dashed with hints of licorice, is consistent all the way up until the spicy ending. The burn definitely impresses as the evenness of white ash brimming from the cigar is a sight to behold. Add the Classic in your humidor, folks.
