07:34 (EST)Mmmm, this just doesn’t work for me. Generally I like the Ashton Cabinet range, but the Pyramid I tried was just too bland and blonde. Pleasant but forgettable, just a little too mild.

02:28 (EST)This cigar was made to impress—from its looks to aroma, to taste and overall experience. I would want to be seen smoking this Ashton all the time, because I’m sure my coolness points could use some help. The pre-light aroma was already amazing, and prepared me for the suaveness the whole experience would give me. Its superb construction yielded flavors of cream and honey, and a lifetime of good scents. Pretty mild and sweet, but that’s exactly the way I want it.

10:16 (EST)From appearance, the Pyramid has the potential to become a really good smoke. However, the slow burn also revealed a couple of problems with the cigar. There were issues about the construction being average at best. Also, the burn was unsatisfactory and uneven for comfort. As for the taste, the mildness of the smoke (consisting of tea flavors peppered with mint, alfalfa, and wood) could easily be mistaken for a lack of flavor. Overall, the Pyramid could be skipped by those who prefer medium-full bodied cigars
