This cigar had very definite beginnings of herb tones, which eventually turned into coffee and spice halfway through. I like that it has a cleanly-constructed wrapper, in smooth dark brown, and has a precise, even burn. However, its only drawback is its price, which means I can’t have this one on a whim. But it’s worth considering every time.

Five different, aged tobaccos wrapped in golden-toned Connecticut shade. Supposedly originated because creator Avo Uvezian wanted a premium mild cigar to smoke by his piano. I guess that explains the flavor: creamy, soothing pleasurable but not unusual enough to draw attention to itself. A great background cigar, for those days when you’ve got other things going on.

The No. 9 has a beautiful wrapper made from chocolate, making the smoke sweet all the way through. It starts off dry after a couple of puffs, but develops a creamy taste afterwards. There are no problems with regard to burn and draw during the smoke. The maduro flavor is watered down, making way for the cocoa and spice to make an impression. The cigar may be too pricy taking into consideration its size, but the overall experience of the No. 9 cannot be denied.
