The legendary Bolivar was introduced in 1901 by the Rocha Cuban Cigar Company, naming it after the infamous Cuban general, Simon Bolivar. It was the Bolivar cigar’s birthright to be powerful, strong, and fiery—much like its namesake. One important fact to remember is that the Bolivar is not for the beginner; its incredibly strong flavors and full-bodied taste are meant to be in the offing for the experienced smoker, the classic cigar aficionado. That’s because the Bolivar is perhaps one of the strongest Cuban cigar, with a robust nature that may overwhelm the less experienced. The Bolivar line of Coronas Junior, Petit Coronas, and Belicosos Finos are all shining examples of strength and character which are not always present in many cigar brands. With its fans reaching far and wide—evidenced by a miniature box of Bolivar Delgados in the Wondsor Castle’s royal nursery—it is of no doubt that the Bolivar cigar is among the best in the world. |
