09:47 (EST)The Churchill has a great amount of flavors to it that make the cigar a complex stick, yet a pretty smooth one at that. In fact, the leather, cinnamon, and maduro flavors intensified after minutes going into the stick. The burn was quite a bummer as I had to relight the stick a couple of times to get the flame on the foot evened out. Still, there's no denying that the cigar taste is pretty good. Overall, the Chuchill is one heck of a cigar that requires your attention.

10:16 (EST)Rough maduro wrapper, with a few lumps but nice, dark and oily. Well-rounded cap, fine burn and draw. Pleasant flavor: medium-full and slightly sweet, getting stronger and spicier as you go. Would be great at $3, but for now it’s a bit overpriced for what you get.

07:36 (EST)I must say they're pretty expensive! The taste is ok. Nice full flavor of sweet cocoa. I hated the grassy after taste though. I noticed that at times. But not all the time. The wrapper was tightly rolled, so the draw was a bit tight but wasn't really a problem. The whole stick burned even. If you want to spend some I wouldn't mind recommending this particular pricey cigar.

12:31 (EST)Lowered expectations can help people enjoy things in their lives, which is why the 2005 Blend Churchills will benefit from your indifference to its shortcomings. The rough wrapper and uneven taste ultimately contribute to the downfall of this cigar, but smokers wouldn't mind if they just focus on the medium- to full-bodied notes popping in and out of the session. Of course, cigars are easily corrected by storing them in the humidor for a couple of months. Otherwise, the 2005 Blend Churchills, if immediately smoked out of the box, is pleasant for what it's worth.
