For me this is all about the full-bodied taste: a teasing salt-and-spice undertone that starts early but really kicks in about halfway, when it blends awesomely with coffee and leather. All that and a smell my girlfriend actually seems to like.  Sold!

The Toro can claim to be a very well-made cigar, judging from its dark crimson wrapper. However, once smokers get past the aesthetics, there are left with a disappointing smoke that's best fed to the dogs. The horrible burn started things off as I had to relight the damn thing numerous times. The sweet profile of the cigar unfortunately turned in a muddy performance afterwards. Although not an awful smoke, the Toro was nonetheless repulsive.

This cigar is very well constructed and has a pleasant aroma that I enjoy very much. I liked the way this cigar burned and it has an easy draw. The taste kind of changes when you get to the middle but it only gets better. I really have to smoke another one of these. It's excellent for relaxing in my front porch.

The 2005 Blend Toro is a lot of things except sturdy. The cigar can't seem to stay rolled throughout the smoke and was difficult to smoke in the process. The stogie showed signs of life when it boasted good pre-light aroma and consistent flavors of leather. Of course, just before I could start enjoying the profile of the cigar, the burn lets up, which pretty much sums up the frustrating experience with the 2005 Blend Toro.
