09:15 (EST)I liked some of the other Bolivar DRs, so I wanted to try this size. Sadly, same good construction but not the same good taste – it was flat and almost flavorless. A little cream and dark chocolate taste finally came through at the halfway point, but not enough to save it. Stick with the other Bolivar DRs.

07:39 (EST)When I first lighted this cigar I thought it tasted a little dull, but like most cigars you really get the taste when you reach the middle part. It was creamy chocolate flavor and it's very agreeable. It has an almost perfect draw, very easy to puff and has a rich and pleasant smoke. It has a wonderful aroma that lingers on my shirt.

06:38 (EST)A thick smoke loaded with hints of leather, the Robusto is pretty much what you'd expect from the Bolivar line. The oily wrapper appeared appealing to say the least, while the even burn produced grey ash that was equally satisfying. The consistently great flavor headed by the leather and fine wood ending makes the Robusto a must-try among medium-bodied smokers.

12:52 (EST)The Robusto is pretty, well, robust get from the get-go. The impressive construction, indicating a steady draw and even burn, is the main attraction of the stick. However, the beginning of the smoke is muddled by inconsistent flavors and harsh burn, which was only corrected after the first third of the stick. The cigar profile is easy going – a mild-bodied pup that maintains interest despite its lack of dimensions. The Robusto serves the purpose of being a tight stick.
