- Wrapper: Brazil
- Ring: 60
- Filler: Nicaraguan
- Size: 6
- Binder: Nicaraguan
Review
A must-try for fans of full-bodied maduros. Regardless of their name, CAO Brazilias are made in Honduras, from Nicaraguan filler and binder -– but the wrapper is genuinely Brazilian.
The most popular are the robusto Gol! and the torpedo Samba. Rounding out the line are Ipanema, Carioca, Lambada, the shorty Piranha, Chango, Amazon and Anaconda.
Drawn by high ratings from different publications, I sampled the CAO Brasilia Gol! It is unusually attractive, a dark beauty with gleaming skin and strong spicy flavor. In all, a rich, smooth smoke that tastes like samba sounds: sexy.

07:08 (EST)The 60 ring can be a bit intimidating, but don't let this fool you. Great full bodied smoke with cocoa, cedar and great blend of spice. All of them burned even and draw is perfect. Definitely stash some away for a great smoking experience.

08:01 (EST)What a beauty, I tell you—this baby’s rolled just right, and the color’s amazing. I could smell some wood, some cedar. Then, as I tasted it, everything came into place—wood and cedar, and a mixture of licorice, pepper, and spice. Quite unlike anything I’ve ever had. You’d be a fool not to buy this.

05:57 (EST)Stylish appearance and tight construction makes the Amazon look good based on first impressions. However, the exquisite flavors of cedar and toast with touches of sweetness and spice pretty much equals, if not surpasses, the aesthetics of the cigar. The various flavors were able to produce a complex yet harmonious taste that will satisfy fans of medium to full-bodied smokes. The Brazilian wrapper feels too delicate for the ring gauge of the cigar, but it did not create issues with regard to draw and burn, both of which are excellent. The asking price may be too much for this pup, but the Amazon is worth the experience.

06:44 (EST)Supersized, super-flavored. Literally, a full-bodied cigar to sink your teeth into. Even the C.A.O. reps say Brazilia is their best line, and having tried them all I have to agree. Save this one for a leisurely evening and smoke it to the very end -- it’s too good to rush.
