08:26 (EST)Sometimes you meet a cigar that’s amazing, from looks to flavors, and almost everything else. You get complex blends and perfect burns and draws, and actually enjoy the whole experience— but somehow nothing really stands out. It could be that all aspects were well-balanced, though. Or maybe, in achieving excellence, character gets lost somewhere. Go figure.

06:40 (EST)Decent smoke, indecent price. This has some good points--hefty size, full, woody flavor and a bit of super-aged tobacco in the blend—but you just can't get past the sticker shock. Note to Camacho: mute the hype and lower the price, and everyone will be happy.

07:29 (EST)Sometimes, treading into unique territory is a bold way to go. Ask the Liberty 2003, a full-bodied stogie that exudes a peculiarly delicious flavor. Looking beyond its pleasing appearance, the deep tobacco taste gets stronger and better after letting it ripe in the humidor for a couple of minutes. There's not much to look for with regard to taste in this stick, which might become a problem for seasoned full-bodied smokers. However, just as unique cigars go, the Liberty 2003 treads its own path, whether you like it or not.
