02:36 (EST)Appearance. Check. Construction. Check. Draw and burn. Check and check. Taste. Should be checked! Everyone’s sugar levels might reach sky-high with the overwhelming sweetness of this cigar. It definitely didn’t go with the rest of it, kind of like a Jekyll-and-Hyde personality. Like a quiet person who suddenly screams in your ear. This disturbed me for real.

09:26 (EST)The inconsistency of the Robusto starts with its elegant appearance that was slowly met with a flimsy construction and less-than-adequate draw. The toasty and nutty flavors were welcome, but they are combined with a harsh taste that resembles chemical tones, leaving a bad aftertaste. The draw produced flaky grey ash that easily crumbles from the cigar, which shows the unpleasant qualities of the filler. Although not a total disaster, the Robusto could easily use some stability in its smoke.
