Although the Opus X may be one of the most sought-out cigars in the market, its sister brand, the Diamond Crown, isn't far behind. Originally known for its complex and mild cigars, the Diamond Crown has shifted to making full-bodied smokes in the '90s. After years of perfecting the cigar, the result was the Maximus, a rare line of smokes sold in limited quantities due to the special aging method its tobacco undergoes. The cigar has been crafted by some of the greatest minds in the cigar industry, so expectations are definitely high in this one.

For what it's worth, the Maximus line is exceptionally exquisite starting with the full-bodied aroma of its sun-grown wrappers from El Bajo. Its rich flavor is also attributed to the fact that the wrapper is grown by the Oliva Family, famous for the fine tobaccos they produce. The Dominican filler specially aged for the Maximus gathers the flavors of coffee, earth, and cedar to create a robust and complex taste worth the smoking experience. Therefore, those who demand nothing short of maximum from their smoke will find the Diamond Crown Maximus fit for their royal tastes

I have always wanted to try one of these Diamond Crowns and it was just what I expected. This cigar is one of the best in my list. The taste was just perfect for me. I enjoyed the whole stick. The drag was very good, it was so easy to puff.

I had a feeling these Diamond crowns would be great. I just never bought one until my friend gave gave me a couple of sticks, since then I have been purchasing them, sometimes even in boxes. I'll tell you that every stick of this that I have had burned the same way, it was very nice and even and I had no problems whatsoever with the draw.

Here is one of the greatest cigars I ever had. It has a mixture of wonderful flavors and a nice aroma. It has a white and creamy smoke and a very easy drag. Not too tight and not too loose. I just love ending my day lighting one of these diamonds.
