02:32 (EST)This one’s bound to get you in a good mood—it’s simply light, happy, and problem-free. Color was fair, construction was solid, and the draw was great. Best of all, the symphony of flavors—vanilla, toffee, nuts, cream—were just the right kind of mild to keep things easy. I really liked this one, and would smoke it next time I’d like to start my day right.

12:42 (EST)Cuban cigars are known to be the best, and the Tainos is no different from the rest. Aside from being hefty and well-rolled, the cigar contained a variant of flavors starting with hints of wood, vanilla, and nuts during the first third of the smoke. The cedar got more pronounced with toasty notes to produce an arboreal flavor. The last third of the smoke made use of spicy and menthol flavors for an exhilarating finish. The problematic draw brings the Tainos a couple of notches down, but it does not take away anything from this fine-tasting smoke.
