Kind of like a person that grows on you, this one. I have tried this several times before, and surprisingly, each experience was better than the last. I love its shape and size, and the wrapper is just smooth. A bit on the mild and easy side, but I’m not really one to go for complex cigars all the time—sometimes drives me crazy. But this is just steady and consistent, and great for those who’d like to take things slow.

The Rectangulares has a good appearance but is mired with spotty construction leading to an inconsistent draw. Nevertheless, these are minor problems that are completely offset by its fantastic taste. The cigar is dominated by nuts and caramel during the first part before plunging deep into the leather flavor on the remaining part. Touches of pepper were also evident throughout the duration of the smoke. The even burn furthers the Rectangulares as one of the better medium-bodied smokes around.
