02:23 (EST)Double wrap or not, this one looks better than it tastes. A weak link in one of my favorite lines, will stick with other Gurkhas from now on.

08:52 (EST)Outside the attractive wrapper and tough construction, the Doble Maduro is nothing to drag about. The mild-bodied smoke possesses a rather dull and bland flavor that leaves smokers longing for more. To its credit, the toasty profile of the cigars is not as bad as one would suspect. Coupled with a pleasant appearance and solid construction, the Doble Maduro is an enjoyable ditty. Still, the stogie could have added a few dimension to its taste and make it better in the process.

04:05 (EST)You have to find the perfect age for this one. Maybe keep it in your humi for about a year or so. The taste is strong, a little toasty and spicy. Personally I prefer medium to strong flavor but there's something about the taste on this one that needs a little toning down. The construction needs a little improvement. I'm not impressed with the fancy look, I would rather have it simple yet constructed with quality. I had to be careful holding it and that's not good. I want to smoke my cigar and feel relaxed, not having to watch over it and making sure it doesn't make a big mess.
