02:15 (EST)Uneven burn, may be better on the smaller sticks. At about two hours to smoke, I want flavor complexity beyond just wood and spice.

02:12 (EST)I wouldn't count these as one of my favorite of all Gurkha cigars. But it can compete with the rest. Nothing special with the blend, a little woody to the taste and a hint of spice. ordinarily creamy, I wouldn't say that it blew me off my seat. This is good for sit down dinners and I can imagine with a glass of bourbon. The appearance is nice and didn't experience any difficulty with the burn. It wasn't consistently even with each draw but it held on to the finish. I could spend some money on these but it won't be a regular thing with me.

03:59 (EST)Looks can be deceiving, says the Churchill, a gigantic mild- to medium-bodied smoke. Despite its length and girth, along with its elegant construction and consistent draw, the smoke fails in giving off a taste that would somehow equal its size. The nutty and spicy characteristics of its profile is commendable, but there is nothing much to taste beyond that, leaving for a thin and dull smoking session. Not to mention, the burn is inadequate, as far as I'm concerned. One word: blah.

03:50 (EST)Of all the gurkha cigars this one is quite disappointing. It doesn't live up to its name. There is just nothing worth talking about with this cigar, except maybe for the well polished exterior and packaging. The whole thing was a mess. The flavor was horrible, tasted like burnt wood, the burn was consistently uneven, and the price is ridiculous considering the inferiority of this cigar. I recommend the Robusto instead. It's not only better, it's cheaper too.

03:35 (EST)A long-lasting smoke doesn't always presuppose to be a great smoke. This assumption is almost crossed by the Churchill, a lengthy medium-bodied cigar that is heavy on the flavor flirting with blandness. Amidst the solid burn and construction, the taste fluctuates from nice tones of coffee and spice to no flavor at all. At times, it is a good smoke to accompany one during the day, but taking the overall experience, the cigar becomes quite unsteady at best. Proceed with caution.
