La Gloria Cubana Dominican Republic Cigar Review

The '90s saw the popularity of La Gloria Cubana Cigar skyrocket, and it is not without a good reason. The brand has been deemed one of the most full-bodied smokes currently being made in the Dominican Republic. Ernesto Carillo, creator and founder of La Gloria Cubana, was skeptical of the reception the brand will receive after setting up a store in Miami. However, ever since the brand was warmly received, he has called the help of General Cigar to produce and maintain the quality of the cigars in the Dominican Republic.
If there's one word to describe the taste of the La Gloria Cubana cigars, it would have to be 'rich'. The spicy and earthy aromas from the stick carry well to the smoke, but the spices dissipate and the mildness sinks after a quarter of an hour. The consistency of its flavors and the toast definitely dominates the majority of the smoke, making for quite a good smoke until the very end. The cigar produced a great deal of smoke due to its more-than-adequate draw, but the uneven draw would require the smoker in relighting the cigar from time to time. Overall, despite its burn issues, the La Gloria Cubana cigar packs in a lot of flavor to compensate any of its shortcomings.
