Created in 1999, the La Gloria Cubana Series R was intended for the passionate—the smoker with a penchant for full-bodied taste. There’s nothing wimpy about this cigar, as its creator Ernesto Perez Carrillo, Jr. would have it, and is apparent in its unique Dominican-Nicaraguan blend wrapped in an Ecuadorian wrapper distinct in flavor.
Rich and aggressive, the La Gloria Cubana Series R cuts an intimidating presence with its defined spice flavor and full, satisfying espresso notes. Yes, these are some of the most complex cigars around—but if you never live life on the safe side, why should you go for anything less?
If you’re stubborn, opinionated, and like making a statement every now and then, this one’s for you. Plus it’s got a large ring gauge that says, hey, no one messes with me.
