Me likey! The dark tasty Cameroon wrapper adds a nice touch (licorice? black cherry?) to the usual Monte flavor palette. Too costly for everyday, but what a nice change once in a while.

A solid installment in the Serie V, the Belicoso is a full-bodied smoke with enough complexity to keep smokers on their feet. The construction possesses a classic look while the draw and burn do not exhibit any issues that would jeopardize the smoke. The nutty and cocoa flavors that dominate the smoke are complimented by the black licorice and the Cameroon wrapper, making the cigar possess a peculiar taste. Although some will not find the Belicoso groundbreaking, its endearing consistency makes it a must try.

If you like ‘em quirky and charming, this one’s for you. I can’t say much about its looks, but the flavors were definitely something to talk about. Almost gothic but with a positive vibe, the dark cherry and black licorice came together for an almost exotic smoke. A bit daring, a tad bold, but completely unusual—quite a nice and fresh way to enjoy a smoke.
