02:04 (EST)Dark and sweet – good in chocolate, less good in a cigar. Smoke these early in the day if you must, the flavor won't be enough otherwise. Very reasonably priced for maduros though, so I'll probably be back.

08:57 (EST)The No. 650 is as sweet as they come. The cocoa profile resembles a tootsie roll and contains enough tobacco to form a mild-bodied stogie. The construction is adequate although tightly packed, leading to a rather poor draw. Nevertheless, the stick has a nice pre-light aroma to tempt you from buying and smoking this thing. Considering that the No. 650 is not the best cigar in the market, it still is worth a try.

04:28 (EST)Nice look from the No. 650, which isn't really much if you think about it. But hey, if there's something good to mention, then better tell it as it is. However, the shortcomings should be said just as well, namely: poor draw and tightly packed cap. The flavor is adequate to say the least (tobacco with fine hints of cocoa), while the burn is spot on. Still, I cannot fully give my recommendation to the No. 650. Maybe fix that damned draw, and we got something good right here.

04:15 (EST)If you are more concerned about the price than getting the most out of your cigar, then these would be the perfect ones to spend your money on. The price is very cheap so don't expect much. If they were expensive I would be ranting about the bitter coffee flavor with a nauseating hint of herbal spicy taste that I really don't get. It can be a little salty at times but I've had some occasional times that I sensed some sweetness but very light to even really notice. The burn was not good all the time and overall look is nothing special. I can be pretty cheap, but I would rather shell out a little more to get better cigars than these.

03:44 (EST)There is a fine line between mild and bland, and the No. 650 almost crossed the latter. The smoke seemed to be propped for good things considering the nice construction and appearance of the smoke. However, smokers will be puzzled with the lack of taste from this thing. Was it tobacco, or hot, smoky air? Who knows? The poor draw doesn't really help its case, either. Overall, there are lots of mild-bodied cigars that can easily give you a run for your money compared to the No. 650. Still, it's not bad trying these stogies out.
