01:25 (EST)With its large size and intense Padron flavor, this would be too much stogie for some. But if you like your cigars swaggering, clear some time, pour a good whiskey and light up.

01:08 (EST)Someone in the Padron household probably suggested a little experiment, which most likely went, “let’s make some bad coffee and roll it into a cigar”. There was nothing here but dark, bitter coffee which just slowly changed from bad to worse. The burn was good, and it’s a surprise I even remembered it with the overwhelming and unchanging presence of bitterness. If you’re in a black mood, go get a cup of black coffee. Or smoke this cigar.

01:05 (EST)The Churchill is harsh when immediately smoked, so it is definitely ideal to store these pups in your humidor for approximately a year, understating its edges in order to let the sweet and nutty flavors of the smoke come through. The cigar turned to its natural medium-bodied profile when its leather and wood notes finally impose themselves in the middle. Both the draw and burn were balanced up until the spicy end of the smoke. Unless you have no patience for storing and aging cigars, the Churchill is an elegant and well-balanced smoke.
