When talking about cigar strength, the Partagas Cuba comes to mind. As a short introduction, the Partagas was founded by Don Jaime Partagas in 1845. The cigar brand won around three medals in international exhibitions from 1867 to 1884, thanks to its rich and intense flavor. After his death, Ramon Cifuentas inherited the brand in 1889 before the nationalization of the country.  The Partagas line sells a wide variety of cigars of different sizes and shapes that will appeal smokers looking for a cigar that suits their preference in medium to full-bodied smokes.

As mentioned, Partagas Cuba boasts an intensity and complexity not found on other cigars due to its well-rounded flavors of cedar, vegetable, and spices on different parts of the stick. The strength of the cigar reveals itself during the course of the smoke, especially at the end. The oily Colorado wrapper may contribute to the uneven burn at times, but a couple of months in the humidor should do the trick. Seasoned smokers who have yet to try the Partagas will only strengthen with love for full-bodied and complex cigars.
