Review
One of the bestselling Dominican Republic cigar brands in the world, the Romeo y Julieta 1875 was founded in Cuba and has been known to produce medium-bodied cigars using different tobacco from different nations to create a unique and complex taste. The brand produces various smokes in different sizes and shape that will definitely appeal enthusiasts looking for their type of cigar. Due to the insufficient production of Cameroon wrappers, cigars made by Romeo y Julieta 1875 have been difficult to find. However, even celebrities and politician would agree that paying a hefty amount on these rare pups is worth the expense.
The cigar brand starts with using the richest and best wrapper available that gives off a unique aroma and a fulfilling spicy finish during the smoke. The tobacco used on the cigars gives off a complex taste dominated by a smooth woody flavor and is complemented well by its tasteful wrapper. The excellent draw and burn, as well as its white ash, doesn't hurt its case at all. In essence, those who smoke cigars and have yet to try Romeo y Julieta 1875 are missing out on a whole lot.

12:48 (EST)Unlike most Churchills, this 1875 one by Romeo y Julieta isn't big on first impressions. The smooth and mild taste at the beginning ended up to be flavorless and bland, which is unfortunate. The stogie picks up midway with earth and spice tones to at leash shape its flavor. However, the smoking experience takes an even further hit with its awful burn that requires touch-ups up until the end of the smoke. The cigar isn't that bad, but given the prestige that the Churchill carries, better alternatives are found in the market.
