Review

Aged tobacco for young smokers, Zino Platinum is a line of mild-to-medium-bodied Dominicans by the high-end Swiss label Davidoff. The basic contents are Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Connecticut binder, and blended Dominican/ Peruvian filler.  Scepter line blends three different tobaccos, all aged over 4 years, with year-old binder and wrapper.

As with all Davidoffs, the Zino Platinum line is beautifully rolled, wrapped, bound and presented.  (You see and smell where your money's going.)  The smoke is creamy, plentiful and has a distinctive aroma; the differently-aged tobaccos yield a flavor that's interesting but not overpowering. It's pricey, but if you appreciate complexity, finesse (and yes, presentation), it's money well-spent.

The look of the Zino Platinum grabs your attention. Great presentation. The more you smoke the cigar the more flavor you get. One of my favorites.

A pointy-ended perfecto, pricey but quite good. Mild with an almondy sweetness (and a harsh bit at the end) and an amazing amount of smoke. I wish it wasn't so good, because you forget how overpriced it is. Worth grabbing on a special deal, but otherwise you can do better.

Zino Platinum cigars boast a distinct flavor that appeals to most smokers, which is why the Scepter Series Chubby gets a lot of positive feedbacks. The sweet and smooth profile gets a reaction from people while the slow burn allows for an extended cigar session of more than an hour. The price could have been lower, but the Scepter Series Cubby is worth your time.

This is a very catchy cigar and nicely shaped. I was surprised that this cigar lasted as long as it did. I enjoyed it immensely I just love it when a cigar burns slow. The draw was a little tight at first but gets better the more I smoked it. It has a nice white, creamy smoke with a sweet arome. Great various flavors and it gets better on the middle part until the end.
